Why are my photos showing up sideways?

Before you take any photos within the app, make sure your camera's portrait orientation lock is OFF. 

You will know it is off because the icon will be grayed out instead of red:

Now when you take photos horizontally within the app, the app will automatically adjust them right-side up.
